Before its public mainnet release on September 16, Circle has revealed the first group of validators for the Arc and key ecosystem partners. The company aims to adopt blockchain within traditional financial systems to enable tokenized assets, real-time payments, and institutional digital investments.

Arc Brings Major Financial Institutions Onchain
Circle confirmed that Arc’s founding validators include BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Global Payments, ICE, Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Corporation, and Visa alongside Circle.
While most blockchain networks are secured by a crypto-currency with a dedicated core team, Arc’s security is to be maintained by the institutions active on the platform in the construction of financial services.
Circle noted that they created this model to help improve security, governance, compliance, and operational resilience for the benefit of their institutional customers.
