TRON DAO has become an official partner of the Crypto Partner Programme. This Mastercard initiative connects various blockchains with the traditional payment system.
TRON is notable for the fact that its network has become a key conduit for USDT transactions, processing $22 billion worth of transactions daily and achieving a total turnover of $85 billion. However, it is not yet possible to spend TRX cryptocurrency directly via Mastercard cards.
I’ve noticed a trend where payment systems seem to be avoiding the direct integration of cryptocurrency balances — or is it just me? I would really like Mastercard to introduce the ability to spend staked TRX, even if only for limited transactions. I currently have a decent amount of coins frozen on Cryptomus. It would be great to be able to use some of those funds for restaking or even as collateral for a loan.
Do you think Mastercard could technically launch something like this in collaboration with its partner pools?
